I have been obsessed with the pictures of the long beachy waves I have been seeing on some of my favorite YouTubers like Anna Lee, Claire Marshall, and Jenn Im. So, I started to try out some texturizing sprays because I cannot afford to splurge $30 on the Oribe Surfcombers mousse that all the YouTubers are using.
I have tried the Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Sea Salt Spray and the Garnier Fructis Style De-Constructed Beach Chic texturizing spray. First off, I would like to say that they both smell amazing! The Beach Babe spray has a great coconut smell that just makes you wish you were on a beach with a piƱa colada in your hand. And the Beach Chic spray smells sweet and fruity.
The Beach Babe spray gives you way more texture than the Beach chic spray. But if you spray too much product in to your hair, your hair can get a little sticky. The Beach chic spray gives your hair a great scent but not much texture. I like to use the Beach chic spray on day two hair. And I usually use the Beach Babe spray on day three hair because I can get a lot more texture and volume to my hair and make an awesome looking messy bun! Which has pretty much been my go to hairstyle! I also love to use these sprays because it helps give texture to my hair and keeps my waves in longer when I put my hair in a bun the night before. When I have the perfect messy/ wavy hair I like, I usually wear in down or with a headband or in a half up half down hair do.
After talking about the various hair dos, I might actually do a post about three easy hairstyles for late mornings and make my late morning videos a three part series...hmmm...anyway, I'll work on the idea. What texture spray do you love? I'm thinking about getting the Garnier Fructis Style De-Constructed Texture Tease to use with my Beach chic spray. What do you think?
