LillyRose by Juliet Ly: The BEST Powder Foundation EVER!

I used to swear by Physicians Formula Translucent powder foundation. But now, I can't get enough of the Benefit Hello Flawless Powder Foundation. In June, I mixed my Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation with my Instanatural Vitamin C Moisturizer to create a light, dewey tinted moisturizer. I loved how natural and healthy my complexion looked with this combo, but after four to six hours of wear, my face looked like an oil slick. This combo was just too moisturizing for these hot summer months. So, I decided to take out my Benefit Powder Foundation and try it out.

After applying my Smashbox Photofinish Primer, I applied the Benefit foundation with my foundation brush from Real Techniques. At first, I thought my face looked really dry because I was so used to having that healthy skin glow. But after 20 minutes, the Benefit foundation melted in to my skin. I couldn't believe how well the powder blended in to my skin. This powder is super light and great for those light makeup days. Personally, I don't like to pile on foundation in the summer heat. So, this powder foundation was airy and perfect!

This powder foundation does not cake up because the powder is really fine. The fine consistency helps the foundation to blend easily in to the skin. I usually have dry patches around my chin and eye area, but this powder foundation goes over those spots really well and never makes my skin look flakey. This sheer coverage powder is amazing for evening out my skin and giving it a nice even tone. The foundation never feels heavy on my skin and lasts all day! I can go to work from 10AM to 7:30PM and my foundation will still look presentable! Benefit's Hello Flawless Powder Foundation is definitely going to be my go-to foundation for everyday wear!
